Rajasthan JLO Recruitment 2023: Eligibility, Selection Process, and Pay Scale



The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 140 Junior Legal Officers (JLO). The online application process will begin on July 11, 2023 and will end on August 9, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the JLO recruitment, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • They must be a citizen of India.
  • They must have a Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university.
  • They must have a minimum of 60% marks in the Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • They must have a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years of age as on January 1, 2024.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the JLO recruitment will be done through a written examination and an interview. The written examination will be of objective type and will be conducted in two parts. The first part will be of General Studies and the second part will be of Legal Studies. The interview will be conducted to assess the candidate's personality and suitability for the post.

Pay Scale

The starting pay scale for a JLO in the Rajasthan Government is Rs. 35400-112400.
