School Teacher in Noida Chops Students' Hair for Violating Dress Code

A teacher at a private school in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, has been terminated from her job after she was caught on video, chopping students' hair. The teacher, identified as Anjali Yadav, using a pair of scissors to cut the hair of several students of class 11 and 12.

The students were reportedly not following the school's dress code, which requires them to keep their hair neatly trimmed.

The incident took place on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Shanti International School in Sector 168. The video of the incident went viral on social media, sparking outrage among parents and students.

In the video, Anjali Yadav can be seen forcing the students to sit down in a row. She then proceeds to cut their hair without their consent. Some of the students can be seen crying and trying to resist, but Anjali Yadav continues to cut their hair.

The school administration was quick to react to the incident. In a statement, the school said that Anjali Yadav had been terminated from her job and that a police complaint had been filed against her.

The school also said that it would be providing counseling to the students who were affected by the incident.

The police have registered a case against Anjali Yadav under Section 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code. She is yet to be arrested.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of students in schools. It has also highlighted the need for schools to have clear policies on dress code and discipline.

Parents and students have demanded that the school administration take strict action against Anjali Yadav and ensure that such an incident does not happen again.

In a similar incident in 2022, a teacher in Mumbai, India, was caught on video slapping a student. The teacher, identified as Anita Yadav, was seen in the video slapping a student on the face several times. The student was reportedly not paying attention in class.

Anita Yadav was terminated from her job after the video went viral. She was also arrested and charged with assault.

These incidents highlight the need for schools to have clear policies on discipline and to train teachers on how to handle student behavior. Schools should also have a system in place for parents and students to report incidents of abuse or harassment.

It is important to remember that teachers are responsible for the safety and well-being of their students. They should never use physical force or intimidation to discipline students.

If a teacher does cross the line, it is important to report the incident to the school administration so that appropriate action can be taken.
