The results of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) 2023 for the science streams of PCB and PCM have been released on June 11, 2023. Candidates can check their results on the official website of the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Cell (MSCEC) at cetcell.mahacet.org.
To check their results, candidates need to enter their registration number and date of birth. The results will be displayed on the screen, along with the candidate's percentile score. The percentile score is a measure of a candidate's performance in comparison to other candidates who appeared for the same exam.
The CET is conducted by the MSCEC for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, and other professional courses in Maharashtra. The exam was held on May 28 and 29, 2023.
A total of 1.25 lakh candidates appeared for the CET 2023. Of these, 75,000 candidates appeared for the PCB stream and 50,000 candidates appeared for the PCM stream.
The pass percentage for the PCB stream was 85%, while the pass percentage for the PCM stream was 80%. The highest score in the PCB stream was 99.99 percentile, while the highest score in the PCM stream was 99.97 percentile.
The CET results will be used for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, and other professional courses in Maharashtra. The admission process will be conducted by the respective colleges and universities.
The CET is a competitive exam and the competition is expected to be stiff this year as well. Candidates who have scored well in the CET are advised to apply for admission to the courses of their choice.
