"Novak Djokovic Makes History: Claims 3rd French Open and Surpasses Rafael Nadal with 23rd Grand Slam Triumph"

Novak Djokovic defeated Casper Ruud in straight sets to win his third French Open title and clinch a record-extending 23rd Grand Slam championship.

Djokovic, who was playing in his 32nd Grand Slam final, won 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 in two hours and 15 minutes. The victory also gave Djokovic a record-extending 20th Grand Slam title in the Open Era.

Djokovic started the match strongly, breaking Ruud's serve in the first game of the match. He then held serve to take a 2-0 lead. Ruud broke back in the third game, but Djokovic immediately broke back to take a 3-1 lead. Djokovic never looked back from there, winning the next four games to take the first set.

Djokovic continued to dominate in the second set, breaking Ruud's serve three times to take a 5-0 lead. Ruud finally held serve in the sixth game, but Djokovic served out the set to take a 2-0 lead in the match.

The third set was a formality, with Djokovic breaking Ruud's serve twice to win the set 6-0. Djokovic's victory was his 10th consecutive win at Roland-Garros and his 23rd Grand Slam title overall. He is now one Grand Slam title ahead of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer for the most in the Open Era.

Djokovic's victory was also a historic moment for Serbia. He is the first Serbian man to win the French Open and the first Serbian man to win a Grand Slam singles title since 2008.

Djokovic's victory was a dominant performance from start to finish. He was in complete control of the match and never looked like losing. He is now the clear favorite to win Wimbledon and the US Open and become the first man to win all four Grand Slams in the same year since 2016.
